Lettings
Our school always prioritises our resources and facilities so that they work for the education of our children at our school. This is our professional duty and our absolute focus.
Even so, where we can support our local community by hiring our premises out, then we are ready to do so.
The following facilities are potentially available to hire:
- Theatre
- Astroturf
- Sports Hall
- Dance Studio
- Playing Fields
We have significantly invested in our facilities so that the local community can benefit from high-quality provision. Our theatre saw an extensive £60,000 refurbishment in Summer 2022. More recently, we self-funded a major upgrade to our sports facilities with new flooring, decoration and security.
Meanwhile, we have been proactive in seeking external grants. One of these saw our outdoor netball courts and playground re-laid in Summer 2026 as part of a £100,000 improvement. Elsewhere, we secured around £500,000 in CIF funding through our academy status to replace the Sports Hall roof – which also improved insulation and heating systems – and to increase site security. Looking ahead, the multi-purpose cricket pavilion is scheduled to receive a £130,000 renovation, again through a successful bid for external funding.
Hirings have to cover our costs as all of our funding is for children’s education. It wouldn't acceptable for that money to subsidise local clubs and events. Any income we generate from these lettings is re-invested in the school and the facilities we share with our community.
